Ireland must have been injured then, not in the Newcastle squad again.

Bloody hell, Stoke threw the kitchen sink at Sunderland to get that win.

Looks like Stoke did to the Mackems what they did to us and many others.

Diaby sent off for Arsenal for grabbing Barton round the neck, shoving him to the floor and then pushing Kevin Nolan. Can I confidently predict that according to Wenger it will be someone else's fault or part of a conspiracy against Arsenal?

Wenger's really going to have a lot to moan about tonight - second penalty to Newcastle (again justified). What a game this is.

Unbelievable. As much as I dislike Newcastle, I'd really, really like them to get a fifth now, just to really hack off Wenger.

Yes, Jeff.

For someone who is so good at spotting players, Wenger really can't find a decent defender, can he?

Also, Jack Wilshere is fast adding himself to my list of players I hate. Does he ever shut his mouth and just play?

He is just modelling himself after his influential Captain, who in turn has taken after his moaning manager. Wenger will be moaning at the ref for sending off Diaby but not mentioning his player shouldn't have reacted in the first place.

Very true.

He had nothing to react to anyway as far as I could see. I'd hate to be labelled a Joey Barton fan, but in this case I couldn't see anything wrong - he won the ball.

From Arsene

I didn't see the sending off very well. But Barton should have been sent off too.

This is the best from Wenger, he saw the challenge from Barton on Diaby but didn't see the Diaby retaliation. I'm surprised he hasn't been featured on a "Should have Gone to Specsavers" advert.

I'm no great fan of Newcastle and the delusion that radiates from their supporter (though their blind faith is admirable) but I couldn't be happier with the result as I cannot think of a more petulant up themselves club than Arsenal in world football.
