Don't know if anyone's mentioned it but Asmir Begovic is someone we should be looking at.

Not sure on his situation with Sorensen atm, but Begovic has the shirt lately and has done OK. He's quite highly rated too.

I'm glad he is at the Villa but It's a case of Darren who? for Sunderland again.  they are looking good for Europe.  Hopefully we can put a cracking run together and catch them, but I doubt it.

Fairplay to Carew got a toe on the end of a loose ball. Not being bitter but he was offside ........

John Carew, Carew.......

Do the Stoke fans sing it?

Shame it all turned out a bit sour, we had 3 good years from, more than most I suppose.

Good luck to Stoke and all that but it must be bloody awful watching this every other week.  I'd rather watch rugby.

yeh, but apparently they count the same as 30 yard screamers. I'd take either today if it got us a win.

R5 commentary also saying how poor he and Jones have been upfront generally. All I keep hearing is Carew being pulled up for fouling so things haven't changed there evidently..

No idea who that bloke on Sky is who was discussing it at half time, but "the momentum of the ball was towards the goal so it must have come off a Stoke player". What a load of arse.

2-1 Sunderland - Gyan

as much as Bruce was a complete cock regarding Bent leaving, he has done a good job at Sunderland and bought in some very good players in his time there. I do like Gyan, and Muntari will be a very solid player for them.

Come on Stoke! Our chances of seventh place and European football is slipping away.
