Indeed, it is a pretty novel feeling to be in the semi final of a competition for Blues. Unfortunately most Blues fans would happily be knocked out in favour for winning against Villa on Sunday. That must be a bit depressing Sheldon?

See that seems to be another response that doesn't answer the question asked. If you had to chose, which would you take? As it is a sign of simply how small time Blues fans still think that beating Villa is equally, if not more important that being in the final of a cup competition. It would depress me as the manager that 1, beating Villa, and 2, having a scrap with Villa fans seems to be the raison d'etre of the fans.

They're hardly going to admit it to you, a Villa fan, are they?

I thought when the Chinese took over they'd finally start thinking beyond B6 but they just can't let go. If we didn't exist, neither would they, as their only purpose as a club is to hate us. If they were to bother getting behind their own team, building up the support and focus on developing their club, they may one day finally end the small time mentality that surrounds them. Will it happen? Will it fuck.

Chris, spoke to 4 today, 2 season ticket holders. 2 admitted they would take being knocked out the cup to beat Villa in the league, one refused the question and one said win them both.

has Kenny Dalglish had his named changed  by deedpoll to King Kenny ?

anyway his first league game tonight, cant help willing them to lose, but how well do you think he'l do ?

Liverpool were in much the same situation as us give or take a couple of points,
we look like we are sticking with Houllier, but did we have someone to bring in at short notice like Dalglish.
i suppose the nearest candidate would have been Taylor or Little maybe even Gregory.

so we stick they twist, wonder who will have made the right decision.
for my part, i think we have done the right thing, but only time will tell

anyway, come on Blackpool

ps, oh and when Dalglish was playing he was one of the very few players where i nearly cacked me pants every time  he got the ball anywhere near the goals, he was pretty good

None of those have anything to do with the club any longer though.  At least Dalglish was at Liverpool in an advisory role.

SGT is still chairman of Watford as far as I'm aware, so he wouldn't be an option.  And as much as I love Little and like Gregory, I wouldn't want either of them in charge of the team.

Liverpool fans are deluded if they think he's going to turn them around.  They won't go down, but they wouldn't have gone down under Hodgson anyway.

I've got a few mates who have season tickets, Ozz, and they just don't conform to that stereotype. Even one lad who I know through work who always greets me with a chorus of "sotv" said that he 'd take a thrashing on Sunday in return for a trip to Wembley. I don't doubt that there are some who think like you mention but it's a minority.

I reckon if all voted that are going to the game, then it would be a close run thing.
