WHU out of the relegation spots if it stays this way. And SHA will go above us and Wigan with a draw.

Torres looking more the part now. I think the problems at Liverpool are deeper and Hodgson is just out of his depth. Can see MON as the mr motivator figure though.

Everton looking just as fucked as us without close to any of the distractions we've had to contend with. Moyes has had close to a fully fit squad all season. Now 2-0 down at Stoke

Cahill off to play in some tournament in Asia from tomorrow, too.

Given all of the disruption at the club, we couldn't have been given a more difficult Christmas programme. So when you consider that teams around us aren't exactly tearing it up with easier schedules, it gives some hope that once we do settle down we can get results when the other teams have tougher games.

He's pretty much their entire attack. Too bad.

I love how Blackpool always leave at least 2 or 3 men upfield when defending corners. It's bold but it makes so much sense, the opposition then can't afford to commit as many forward and you're less likely to concede. Always used to frustrate me when MON would bring everybody back for corners, we'd clear it and the opposition would just get it straight back and attack again.

They're losing 1-0.

West Ham 2 up.

Could have done without that.

Well, the way I see it, we're more likely to get out of it than Wolves, and Wolves going down would be fun. Plus they're owed a defeat after the improbable victory at Anfield, who we want to suffer as well, so it all evens out nicely.

interesting way of looking at it. Had they lost at Liverpool and won at West Ham it would have somewhat expected. A draw today would have been nice though

I heard something about the season before last we let one goal in from a set-piece all season.

I'm sure we did, but we also weakened our counter-attack. Plus I bet those statistics don't take into account second-phase goals, where the ball has been cleared, come back in and a goal's been scored.

Jammy fecking Liverpool.

And are Spurs really now 16 points ahead of us?  Was sure I read if we had beaten them the other day we would have been 4 points behind.

And when was the last time West Ham were above us in the table? Must be years.
