Nice little 50 quid for me there on the back of that Everton win!

Man City look what they are, a team of mercenaries, only there for the money

Aren't Everton above us? I know what you mean though. We're competing with Everton at the moment so could do with a Man City equaliser.

Above us by one point by virtue of tonight's result, which I expect to kickstart another one of their second half of the season 15 game unbeaten runs so our loss.

You're right. The table I looked at wasn't up to date.

I agree. What difference is say 12th or 13th going to make? And anyway Everton are always slow starters which is one reason why they are so low down. We are in that position because we have been shit across the pitch. We probably aren't going to finish above Everton anyway.

Absolutely. Every time Citeh lose, a small part of me rejoices regardless of who the victors are.

So you prefer Man U or Chelsea? Somebody has to win the league. Would prefer it to be Arsenal but have Man City as my second choice ahead of Chelsea or Man U. City's fans aren't nearly as vile.

Err... yes. Man City would be my second choice of all the teams that can realistically win the league. Chelsea's fans are far worse, hooligan Combat 18 scum*. Man U are glory-hunting bastards* and I like the thought of how upset Clive Tyldesley will be if they win fuck all.

*In each case, obviously... not all of them. Enough for me to dislike both clubs far more than I dislike Man City.

No but I've been to Maine Road, they were quite bad there in fairness but not as bad as Chavski at Wembley last year and they don't invade the pitch every year at Villa Park like Man U do.

I think most Man City fans would prefer the days when they were an up and down side but with heart than this bunch of mercenaries.

I know 2 or 3 long-standing City fans who are great blokes and they think exactly this. The club has lost its soul as far as they are concerned and can't believe how average the team is given the obscene amounts of money spent...
