Messi with another incredible goal, am I the only one watching this? They are probably playing better than they did against Real.

only because Real are the 2nd best team in the world atm, it just shows how far ahead Barca are from everyone else.
I could watch Messi's goal again and again from tonight, it was phenomenal.

if he carries this through the rest of the season he will have become the best player ever imo.

He has to win his country a World Cup to be considered the best ever in my opinion. He is quite incredible, but it's far too easy to forget how magnificent Maradona and Pele both were. Both led their country to a World Cup (2 in Pele's case), and both achieved great things at club level.

Both Maradaona and Pele played in an era when we'd very rarely (or in the case of Pele, never) have seen any of their club games, so Messi has an advantage in that sense.

I think he's an absolutely brilliant player, supernaturally so. But then again, Maradona won a world cup practically single handed, and almost did it again four years later.

Oh, I dunno. They're all great.

Paul Birch once scored a goal that looked like it would save us from relegation (it didn't). At that moment he knew exactly how I felt about the Villa. That experience has never been repeated, and I believe it never will.

Birchy. Maradona not fit to black his fucking boots.

Christ Birmingham were shite today. They made Wolves look like the Dutch total football side with Sylvain Ebanks-Blake as Cryuff.

They could go down. They are bad enough.

Everyone is bad enough. It would be hilarious if we were a bit better.

That Messi solo goal was just stunning.
Barca are playing football on a totally different dimension, never mind planet, than anyone else at the moment.
Think Brazil in the 70's or Cruyff's Holland, or in a different sport, The All Blacks in their pomp or the West Indies when they were destroying all batsmen with their pace attack. Maybe even the Aussies when they suddenly started to score runs in test matches at a rate previously only seen in one-dayers.
Barcelona are that dominant and will change the way football is played, and it's as superb to watch as all the above were.

What did Joey Barton do yesterday? (Other than score... They spoke about gestures?)

I'm not sure whether Messi is the best player of all time, but Barca might be the best team ever.

Highlights of Barcelona's 5-0 massacre of Real Sociedad. It's the stuff of dreams slightly ruined by the Geordie twat commentating and his Back to the Future references

Brilliant Barcelona

They are redefining the game like Brazil did in the 70's  and like the West Indies and the Aussies did to cricket in their own times. It's fucking wonderful to watch isn't it?

I don't know who that Geordie commentator is but someone needs to tell him that less is more! Shut the duck up and let the football do the talking!

I can't say I noticed the duck. Maybe it was summarising
