Just showed Fergie I think. With the colour of that hat and that face the only way to tell he was looking forward was the glasses.

Well it's going to be even more annoying if we go out tomorrow now.

Arsenal now odds-on to win it with BetFair. Man U at 1000/1 to win match, 125/1 to draw but only 33/1 to win cup? Err...

It fucks me off no end that Man U don't give a shit about this competition yet they still had more than enough to see us off last year in the final. You would think between manager and players we'd have found a way to win in a game where whether they win or not, it's not that relevant to them in the grand scheme of things. Still, I suppose they won't be defending it. We really have to do this tomorrow.

Man U have cared about the competition in the last couple of years, that's why they've won it. Arsenal are taking it more seriously this year. That's why they're in the semis.

Man U put a very strong team out against us in the final so Fergie does take this seriously when it comes to the crunch.

I'm not so much talking about the side he put out. If you're a player playing Champions League football, always competing for the title, you would think that the other team might be slightly more motivated. Especially one like us that doesn't get to that point too often.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. I just hope we can make it right this season.

That Victor Obinna was class for Cole's second.

Yes I agree we could  have  been more aggressive in the final last year however the Utd team  that played in   final was a bit more heavy weight than the team that played tonight.

We're not going to have a better chance of winning the cup since...er, last season.

Add to that Vidic should've been sent off.

What with Blues away and then Arsenal (who destroyed us on Saturday) lying in wait? Last year was a better chance imo.

Wouldn't mind our first team against Arsenal's in a one-off game. We've done ok against them in the last few years. If we get through, I hope we avoid them in the semis.

Thing with Arsenal is, Wenger is usually stubborn enough to play his kids all the way through. It gives everyone a chance.
