NO WAY! Ekotto just takes out Kuyt clean there - it's got to be a peno. Bad decision by ref.

Why is everyone supporting Liverpool today?  It's not like we are competing with Spurs but as it stands we can go above Liverpool by beating them.

Fuck, could have done with a draw. Spurs further ahead (thinking we might catch them is probably a bit disillusional but..) and 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' champing at the bit next week for our game. Or low on confidence, hopefully.

Liverpool seem go through a pattern of 2 shit games, followed by 2 good games... so we might be in luck next week lol.

Spurs are nailed on to finish 5th, Liverpool could've wrapped the game up at half time so Spurs are getting the rub of the green at the minute.

I thought a few weeks ago we could still finish above them but our poor form and that win at the Emirates has changed that.

We can still finish above Liverpool though, 6th is still open.

Considering that last season there are very few teams I disliked more than Spurs, I'm quite loathe to say that I'm starting to really like them.

Quite a lot of likeable players, playing nice football and shaking things up a bit.

Shame it couldn't have been us. But well done to them all the same. I'm even disliking Redknapp more than I used to.

You mean less than you used to?

They do play some good stuff and, much as I'm loath to admit it, they're way better than us. Still fucking hate them though.

I never liked him when he played for the Blues, and have always thought he looks like an absolute scutter, but I have to say, DJ Campbell (MOTD2) now comes across as rather a pleasant, relatively well spoken chap.

we're due a bit of luck with injuries so hopefully we can come through unscathed from our trip to the pits of hell this week, and with a win to boot. Then on to Liverpool who have just lost Carragher to add to Agger and Gerrard. We need a change in fortune in the league and if that means our opponents suffer the same injury crisis that we've been hit by then I'm all for it.
