They are winning but gabby's mum is the only song they have sung all afternoon. I think they will do it
What is the Gabbys mum song all about?

Bolton 5-1 Newcastle. They are playing some really good football too.

The Bolton fan must be regretting getting shot of Megson.

Two goals from Davies today - how does Carlton one goal in 26 Cole get in the England squad ahead of him?

The Rags have won the biggest game in their history. Expect a 32 page pull out in the Evening Mail on Monday.

Shit game.

Chelsea really seem to have gone off a cliff lately.

They've got even worse since they sacked Butch Sideways.

And speaking of coming unglued, the Baggies have fallen off quite a ways from their impressive start.

Great isn't it? BOING BOING!

I quite like how Stoke take care of our hated rivals chance they get. Sadly I think it also applies to all Birmingham teams.

Full time at Pittodrie. Is that them bottom? I was sure St Johnstone were bottom before they got this win.

Bit of a shock that Newcastle took a pounding. Bolton have been great this season but so have Newcastle so was expecting it to be more narrow.

Former Villa youth Sean Dillon has scored a last minute equaliser at Celtic Park for Dundee United. Usually you would expect it to be the other way round.

The PL really is mediocre this year and none of the top teams of recent seasons are as strong as they once were. I think the 25 man PL squad limit is having a major impact on squad depth for the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal, and while their fully fit first XI's are better than most, their overall squads aren't that much better than a lot of the teams beneath them. It gives us great hope that we are improving steadily, and we remain close to the top places despite our early season turmoil, new management and philosophy change, lack of transfer activity and our disastrous injury record.

Similarly at the bottom (Spam and Wolves apart) there are about 15 teams who are much of a muchness.

This season just gets stranger and stranger each week. I'm glad it's a lot closer to be honest.
