Spurs beating Inter is so very, very depressing.

We've done it twice at home as well. <wink>

Difficult to see a way back for Inter, they have been very much second best.

Stop Muntari trying to score from the halfway line eveytime he gets the ball and they might get a chance. I was surprised Modric never got a yellow for the foul on Eto at the end then. He totally took the back leg and was no where near the ball. Very cynical as Eto has the pace and power to break into the box from that position.

What happened 20 odd years ago isn't really of much comfort nowadays, though.

I was so hoping they'd get shown up in the CL, but they're doing depressingly well. I really, really can't stand them.

I don't like them but credit where it's due.  van der Vaart was a fantastic bit of business, I still can't quite work out how they got him for a measly £8m.

Don't give in to the hate.  Take heart from the fact that a well-run club with a reasonable amount of money to spend can do well.  There's no reason why we can't emulate what Spurs have done.

Ok, we beat them three seasons ago <wink>

Lets wait for the full time before we get carried away. If they can keep up the energy level to close Inter for the full match then they will deserve the win but maybe bet against them to win the weekend.

I realise that Ash is on the "wrong side" but I hope he is watching Bale who is just running and beating men with pace around the outside instead of always trying to cut back to beat the man.

Gareth Bale: "Teams are trying to stop me and I've got to think of other ways to get past them. I'm going to have to keep learning in training and in games and try things, and hopefully improve as a player."

And that for me shows the difference between him and Ash currently. Ash has been found out and isn't trying something different. Well apart from taking tumbles.

Champions league suits them as they're far better in possession than we are.
