How did Neville escaped a straight red never mind a second yellow for  the tackle today?

In other news, Feyenoord lost 10-0 to PSV. Yikes

I just watched the goals. Number 9 was a penalty. What sort of referee gives a penalty when a team is 8-0 down?

A referee appointed to referee a football match for  90 minutes I guess!

Love the  way Barry "escorted" Nasri for his goal!

We could do with a player of his quality in January.

And if he had been sent off, then presumably Brown would have come on to replace him, so who would have been sacrificed?    The young kid who scored the winner??  Just shows how these things can have more significance than might first appear.

And if we end up losing to Man Utd again in the final?

Would it not be better to get rid of them at this stage?

Shocking - even Neville said he was lucky to escape the second card.   I think (and I'm guessing here) the referee tried to show common sense, in that, the two tackles as a whole didn't warrant a red card.   However, bollocks to that, he'd already been booked and the second was definitely a stone wall card.

I'd want the Albion to beat Manchester United at this stage.
