But Warnock's been appalling! Frankly I'd rather have Milner at left-back than him at the moment on form. Still, maybe this will be the boost he needs.

He had a much better game Saturday tbf.Milner didn't play well on Sunday but he had been poorly so maybe that's why...

I heard he's got a thigh strain from the weight of his wallet.

I've just been having a mooch on the Blue Moon forum, they don't seem overly impressed with him although most recognise that he may be better playing in a central role.

They should drop De Jong, the evil twunt, or Barry and be a little more adventurous. Put Milner in the centre, Silva and Johnson sharing the wider areas.

they will never see the best from Milner while he plays out wide. Frankly, I think he'll be stuck there because if the current middle options don't work, they'll want to buy someone else. If they wanted Milner for the middle they'd have played him there from the start.

Funnily enough, the Dutch manager has done just that: LINK

Netherlands coach Bert Van Marwijk told the Algemeen Dagblad newspaper: "It was a wild and unnecessary offence.

"I have a problem with the way Nigel needlessly looks to push the limit."

Ironically coming from a man that sent his team out to cripple any Spaniard in sight back in July.

Interesting that De Jong has been dropped from international duty because of the challenge.

It was poor but I admire his get stuck in attitude even if he is a dirty bastard

Went to Kidderminster v Gateshead last night. Kiddie won 2-1. Was decent enough. £14 in. Expensive IMO.

Although the De Jong challenge was bad how come all the papers are on a witch hunt against him?

It was interesting to read that the incident couldn't be reviewed by the FA after the event as the ref saw the incident. This happening 4 years after Ben Thatcher was investigated after his challenge was reviewed by the FA after the ref saw it and he was banned. Coincidently he was also playing for Citeh at the time. Hmmm, Citeh now have money and are buying the type of players that the Prem League officials want to see. I wonder if that makes a difference to over riding the ref or not?
