First half of Spurs v Arsenal was fantastic to watch. If Houllier can nurture our team to pass the ball anything like that it would be a revelation ..............

Half an hour of that sort of football from us somewhere, anywhere this season would be a revelation. Just beautiful to watch..

TBF, just before half time at Stoke and the first 15 minutes on Saturday, were all pretty good football from us.  The pity is we only seem to be able to do it for a few minutes in any match but it does show that we have players capable of playing like that.

Let's hope that GH and his coaching/fitness team can drum it into us to keep these spells going for much longer.

I have to wonder if David Moyes is losing the plot. His team is off to another horrific start to the season, he's got nothing to spend, and every time you watch him now he's in a fit of uncontrollable rage. I know a few us wouldn't have minded him here, but his act is getting a little old.

He's a bit of a Curbishley in reverse, isn't he? Horrible start followed by a great run of form. Except this time they can't claim injuries, as Arteta, Baines, Pienaar, Fellaini, Jagielka and everyone is fit. They always told us how much better their team was than ours when all their players were fit, but it's not showing yet.

I just thought it was funny that Beckford didn't even score from a penalty. Take that Coopers.

Bizarrely, that's pretty much the same thing I thought when I saw that last night.

Has someone changed the wordfilter?

I really hate Villadawg FC Hotspur.

On Beckford: He really has been a crap signing for them. He has been awful so far.

EDIT: It would appear so...

Everytime I see/hear about Darren Backford I think of Coopers' Injury. Unbelievable.

Last season (on account of him not scoring any more) whenever I heard on the radio or at the match that Beckford scored, I would find myself saying "I see Beckford's at it again", just like he used to.

Weird.

I realise it was going to be a tough job for Woy but he has spent alot of money and got in some decent players and managed to persuade Stevie m£ and Ladyboy to stay. But I can see him gone before Christmas at the moment as Liverpool seem so disjointed.

Get your missus to shout `Jermaine Beckford!' at the moment of climax
