United are a completey different team without Ronaldo. You genuinely feared for your lives when you played Man United with Ronaldo because you know he could completely destroy your defence whenever he wanted to with him being their best player. Now, they don't look that good at all and does anyone fear them as much - relying on 35 and 36 year old players doesn't leave you quaking in your boots (albeit their veterans are still good players).

It depends really. Last year when Rooney was on pre-shagging form he was winning games on his own pretty much. If Berbatov and Scholes stay on form and Rooney can re-create last seasons as well then they can beat anyone. They are definitely weaker defensively as Evans hasn't progressed anymore from his début season.

They will still finish Second though but Chelsea could well match Arsenals Unbeatables record this season. So far they have comfortably won all their games and Essien is now back. He showed yesterday that he can play attacking midfield role when Fwank isn't around very well.

If Chelsea look like they've won it by christmas, the other 'top 4' sides could start to fall to bits. I'm thinking particularly of Arsenal.

Sadly the noses look too solid to go down.

Can we have a vote on who is the more tedious to watch, Small Heath or Liverpool?

Organised is about the only positive way to describe either of these dullards.

Liverpool look anything but organised at the back.  Skertel is a donkey and that's against the might of Jerome.  Glen Johnston £18 million, I just don't see it.

Liverpool are truly hideous to watch. I've seen them have two decent performances from them in years. (5-0 V Real in CL and a 4-0 at United) and whilst those were great and efficient performances they do not make up for the vast number of utterly shit draws and drab performances.

I genuinely cannot believe that Ged's team was boring compared to that.

Definitely too expensive but another one like Bale where if he is put out there as a winger rather then a fullback would be excellent.

As long as we stay above them and as funny as it is when the bastards go down, i enjoy the games too much! Same with baggies, as long as we beat em stay!

So how many are Yawnighted going to get against Rangers tonight?

It's the battle of Britain apparently but with one side riding in on lame horses wielding blunt swords and the other with tanks and helicopter gunships.

I think the main question has to be is how long will Fergie play Rooney in home matches only? He admitted the only reason he left him out Saturday was to sheild him from the abuse he would have recieved but surely he will be getting that at most grounds anyway apart ftom OT.

Spurs playing well 0 - 2 up......all I can see is Van Der Vaart playing brilliantly and thinking Mr Lerner/Faulkner spent the same amount of money on Stephen Ireland !!!!!!!
