Ajax 1 up at half-time.

Could have repercussions if you buy the 'Jol will stay if they qualify' theory.

Nice finish by Suarez for the goal but Ajax haven't been impressive to be honest.

I hope that we show up with as much energy as Spurs tomorrow night. I'm sorry, and this is going to sound arrogant, but as a top 6 PL team we really should be battering teams from Austria.

I can't make my mind up if I want them to get Inter and Real in the Group Stage, so that they get absolutely battered, or avoid them so that the media doesn't go into Spuds Wankfest Overdrive about "Glory days back at the Lane".

I fucking hate Spurs.

I can't think of many things to make the current football situation more miserable than it is, but Spurs reaching the group stages would do it.
Yeah, everything does seem doom and gloom at the moment but it'd be hilarious watching spuds getting tonked 6-0 away to Barca which would probably happen.

Not really the most sensible of piss takes that is it mate,  taking into account Aston Villa's showing at Newcastle United last Sunday afternoon ???

The perfect draw for spuds to have in their group would be: Barca, Roma and Rubin Kazan. That'll see the bastards off with 0 points.

If Spurs weren't from London no-one would actually give a shit about them and they'd be considered about as big as Blackburn.

I think your description above applies more to West Ham than Spurs.

I'm no Spurs fan at all ( I fucking hate em, in fact) but their fanbase is at least as big as Villa's
