Citeh seem to be playing a narrow team, Wright-Phillips starts, bit of a shock.

Brilliant game so far. Amazing save from Hart.

Edit: Hart is having a blinder. It could quite easily be 3-0 to Spurs.

If the England manager is watching this he should book Joe Hart in as the national team keeper for the next ten years. He is really excellent.

Fantastic game. Spurs could easily be 5 up.

And people wanted Micah Richards as part of the Milner swap?

Richards has been total shite hasn't he!!

Hart is proving why he should have played at the world cup.

For all their money, City still don't look great. Swap Barry for Milner though and they would have a lot more forward running through midfield though.

No easing into the season for these two then, the pace of the game has been unrelenting.

Watching the pace of this game worries me just how far behind we may be now.

Richards isn't a shadow of the player he was 3 years ago. then again Gareth Bale has come on leaps and bounds. I so wish Downing had his confidence. Even Ash at times, just to blast past the full back at pace and get a cross in. It's why young Marc fills me with so much hope. A proper winger.

Spurs looked like a proper top 4 side towards the end of last season. Today they've picked up where they left off - without the goals, obviously.

But goals are the important bit. Doesn't matter how fancy or boring you play, if you can't score you won't win.

You don't say! (winky)

Spurs had 18 shots on target and still managed to draw, not that I'm complaining. A draw suits us. Great game, though.
