Sod Celtic and Rangers, especially Rangers after their "goodwill" vist to VP in the mid 1970s.
I always followed Meadowbank Thistle results myself.
Then they changed their name to Livingston and moved to the town where SKY have their call centre, so now thats another scottish team I hate.

You should become a Clyde fan. "Oh the Clyde, the Clyde, the Bully Wee Clyde, the name of them fills us and fills us with pride".

Watch as we try to arrest an alarming tumble down the divisions (difficult to get worse as there's no further relegation) and get back in to the promised land of the Socttish First Division.

I drove past the Broadwood Stadium earlier today.

I take it there are still only 3 stands?
Losing 2-1 at home to Rangers tonight with 10 minutes to go, but Stephen Naismith and Kenny Miller scored their goals. They must be fielding a strong side.

For a while it looked like Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord would all be in the next round of the Europa League, but Ajax look set to go through in the Champion's League now.

Bet a few Villa fans wouldn't mind facing Feyenoord for a chance to go to De Kuip again.

Does them being knocked out of the CL mean they are now in the Europa or is them out of Europe altogether before the season begins ??

I was on my way to Kilsyth as I have a customer there.  Kilsyth is another pit but the area as you enter it.... I think Croy? that is quite pretty, I'm referring to the part by the canal and the old quarry where there is a new boat house/restaurant.  The area around the stadium is quite tidy as well, in fact, very scenic.

But in general, that central belt of Scotland is God awful with Cumbernauld town center being the worst of the lot.  Anyway, I got to stay in Moffatt Tuesday night, I quite like Moffatt.

And what an utterly soulless place it is. Stuck in a land of new estates and roundabouts, you don't even pass a pub on the 20 minute+ walk from the station.

Saw a remarkably dull game there against Partick Thistle the other year.

My favourite part of the day was when we saw a "No ball games" sign on the outside of one of the stands as we walked out of the ground. Thought that summed it up perfectly. Though to be fair to Clyde, Broadwood's not a great deal worse than grounds like Hamilton and Airdrie.

Are threads like these going to be merged with a stickied other games thread like last season?

I loved that thread, me.

My German team MSV Duisburg currently have a player rejoicing in the name of Burakcan Kunt on their books. I'm going to encourage them to sign Fanni to add to what's shaping up to be a promising rude XI.

Edit: Sorry, wrong thread. Duh!

Ivanschitz should be another natural fit. Is Shittu still playing?
