Despite the efforts of Mr Lerner I honestly think this is the final straw for me. It's just happened far too many times now, this stings beyond belief.

I'm sure a lot of people think I'm being a bit of a drama queen but somebody else mentioned Yorke. That's Yorke, Barry and Milner. ARGUABLY the three best players for Villa since the formation of the Premier League. What's the point if we can't compete anymore???

Skrtel should have been off for that.

Lets hope tonight is a fourth  6-0 this weekend although ours would still be the worst going on the respective teams.

Well I want 6 now, Liverpool could be a direct rival for us  and I like seeing them getting murdered.

Even with Torres and Gerrard in their side, Liverpool look a million miles behind Man City, never mind the likes of us and Everton. I've a sneaky feeling this will be Stevie G's final season at Anfield, especially if they don't get a Champions League place.

That's their problem though, they've been relying on their only two top-class players for a couple of years now.  The rest of the team is fairly ordinary.  The likes of Mascherano (who I see is now on strike, the twat), Johnson and Carragher are massively overrated in the media.

Liverpool look fucking dreadful, and I know that's rich coming from a Villa fan after yesterday.

I've been impressed with Adam Johnson tonight, at £7m he was an absolute steal.

(Please don't mention Downing anyone.  Just don't.)

Martin Tyler: "You do have to feel sorry for the reputation of Liverpool at the moment"

Oh, boo-fucking-hoo.

It's interesting that Tyler just said the Liverpool fans are terrific for still supporting their team. I don't remember any mention of the outstanding Villa fans yesterday chanting for Villa at 4,5 and 6-0 down to fucking Newcastle.

They desperately missed mascherano tonight, it was only last week they outplayed arsenal with 10 men for 44 minutes!

Poor game I thought, typically over-hyped by the commentary team who as per usual want to laud players for doing quite ordinary things. Liverpool pretty much gave up after going two down and weren't much before that. Gerrard is slowly on the decline and Torres seems to have lost a yard of pace
