It is only a friendly, but it's just the general malaise that's around the club at the moment and these performances aren't lifting it. There is no real optimism or reason to be optimistic at the moment.

We always get these sorts of results in pre season.

Walsall haven't scored a goal yet in pre season so they're bound to score one or two on tuesday.

How do you know its their reserves?

I'm so ignorant I couldn't name you a player without guessing.

Their first team played last night.

What me? Shit-stirrer?

Ashley Young and Curtis Davies led the pack of high profile players at VIP haunt Krystle on Thursday night as they partied into the early hours of the morning.

"John Carew, Nathan Delfouneso, Gabriel Agbonlahor and Steve Sidwell also decamped to the Harcourt Street venue after a day of training.

But the players spent most of their night fighting off wannabe WAGs as they stuck together, shunning the dancefloor -- and took it relatively easy on the booze.

However, certain players lived up to the stereotype of footballers living in excess -- swapping Champagne for Jagerbombs. "

As our exclusive pictures show, the players were happy to party the night away at the elite club -- their second night in a row at a VIP Dublin hotspot.

The boys were also spotted soaking up the atmosphere at Swords hotspot The Wright Venue on Wednesday night.

Bohs goalie played a blinder by all accounts. Produced two finger-tip saves from Bananaman who came on as a sub. Albrighton set-up Carew with a beautiful ball for a second but big John headed wide. The Gypsies (Bohs other nickname) winner was scored against the run of play by a French trialist called Enzo.

There does seem a bit of a malaise around the club lately but I think the results of pre-season friendlies provide very little idea of what will happen come the season.

I didn't think Sidwell had travelled, didn't see him in the squad today.

one of these is currently in France and I would imagine MON gave them the pass !!

In the photo's neither Davies nor Young look drunk do they ?

no wonder footballers do not mix with this kind of rubbish
