Request for info here....

Does anybody know where the villa team are stopping in Dublin for the Bohemians match?

Cheers!

Not a hundred per cent, but I think it's the Portmarnock Hotel. Irish squad usually trains fairly close by, so they are probably using the same training facilities.

Cannot wait until Sat.

Can't read too much into these line-ups, but I really hope we fully test out the 4-2-3-1 formation, or variants. Not sure Young is robust enough to play the second striker role but it could be right up his street, potentially. One of our biggest problems last season was not getting our creative players close enough to one another, this sort of formation would help that.

O'Connor, Doherty, McGuiness and Byrne are presumably their overseas stars?

now been two games on the row we have used this formation, maybe because other forwards not available, maybe the one that is going to be played with Young the pivot point

Pissed-off I'm not at the game, was all set to go but a work deadline was brought forward a couple of days.

Bohs played a league game last night in Bray, County Wicklow, quite close to Dublin. They won 3-0.
Looks like there's only one survior today, Ken Oman.

Bohemians: Murphy; Shelley, Heary, Oman, Rossiter; McGlynn, Keegan (Higgins 82), Cronin, Brennan (Quigley 69); Madden, Greene (Byrne 77).

Wouldn't get too excited about this one

We're in the middle of the Irish League season over here and Bohemians played a league match last night so don't think they would have their normal team out...

Maybe just as well considering how dismal they were the other night when dumped out of Europe by that Welsh team.

Here's their first team from the other night:

Murphy; Shelley, Heary, Oman, Rossiter; McGlynn, Keegan (Higgins 82), Cronin, Brennan (Quigley 69); Madden, Greene (Byrne 77).

It would appear we're losing to their Reserves/Youth team.
