Young could certainly play as a striker - done it before. But I don't know if last night was a hint of things to come or more a case of no other strikers available; no Gabby, Delfouneso, Heskey or Weinmann. Carew was the only recognised striker there last night.

Wee Barry played as the lone striker for the last 20 mins!

Thats him. He's a old fashioned forward. Strong, holds the ball up, can finish well. I'm not yet convinced he'll make it at Villa, especially as he's up against the likes of Delfouneso and Weimann but he has potential.
