My first reaction two minutes ago was not positive.

Maybe it'll grow on me. I don't think the cheque patches down the sides look good. If we have a successful season in it that's all that will count.

I was hoping for a collar this year too. Ah well.

Christ almighty, whatever happened to the claret that Nike managed to get spot on three years back?  Looking at the photos on the OS, it almost looks red.

The away is easily the best of a bad bunch.  Last year's were poor too, I'd be quite happy for us to tell Nike to sling their hook when the contract's up.  See if Umbro can do a better job.

I'd like Adidas myself. The German kits were top notch. Means we'll have stripes down the arms mind.

I think the claret looks fairly dark on the o/s. It looked fairly red on the video but a lot of our kits have looked reddish on sunny hot days - the 1995-96 one sure did, especially if you check out the preseason team photo from that year. I really like the away one - i like the blue trim on it.

My god, you lot are miserable. They keep things the same, you all moan because they are boring, they do something different you moan just for the fcuk of it. I do dispair sometimes when coming on here....
The away kit is well smart. the home kit is at least different from last year and looks cool in a kind of croatia way, ill def be buying one of the two.
And granted the keeper kit is a bit o.t.t. BUT...if i was 8years old id be getting my first erection over it. And we all know the only people  to buy keeper kits are those still awaiting puberty.
Now lets all stop being miserable old men ey?

We should go back to Le Coq Sportif as i dream off seeing the white and yellow striped away shirt (83?) back one day...if theyre still going that is!

It's the most disappointing Villa shirt / check combo since Milan Baros.

So you've had to wait until you're 15, better late than never.

I f****n' hate claret socks.

Seconded.

Claret shirt with blue sleeves, white shorts and blue socks. Shouldn't deviate from that imo.

Have you had that stored up since the initial mock ups of the checked side bits were released and waited till now to release it on the unsuspecting H&V public?

I like both shirts but the red fx logo on the black shirt looks shit.

My main gripe is that they do a big release show but can't give a date when it's available. You have a load of people turn up to see it and surely it'd be worth flogging them straight away?
