Couple of cracking games today. NRL semi final won by Penrith, into their first grand final since 2003. Recommend watching next week's grand final next Sunday morning. Been some cracking games in the playoffs this season and should be another one.

Other match today was challenge cup final, won by Leeds by a point. Bit tough on Salford and would be nice to see some different winners generally but seeing as the Rhinos are my team I'm not too disappointed.

I watched that Cup Final this afternoon, cracking game.  I too felt sorry for Salford, they've waited longer than we have to win the cup.  I used to love watching RL back when I was a kid, Saturday afternoon's waiting for the teleprinter to see how the Villa had got on away, Eddie Waring and pitches six inches deep in mud.  Happy days.

50,000 people saw Queensland produce an epic performance last night against New South Wales. Covid really is happening somewhere else for us. Villa doing well, super Jack tearing it up for England, Qld winning origin again. What time does the alarm go off?

Good climax to the Super League season. A better sport in winter conditions than summer conditions?

Catalans Dragons stuffed Leigh 64-0 and are now guaranteed a home play-off semi-final.

I think SWMBO has got hospitality tickets for the game and Huddersfield on 11/9/21. First time back since before Covid began.

Dragons beat St Helens with a golden drop and take the League Leader's Shield. Now for the semi in Perpignan...

Congratulations to les Dragons. Were 30-12 down with four minutes to play on Saturday.

There have been a fair few different winners of the "hubcap" in recent years but usual suspects tend to win Grand Final. Hope it will be different this year (unless Leeds get there by some miracle)

I really hope the Dragons do it. They deserve it after funeralling everyone (just two defeats so far).

Catalans lost narrowly to Wigan the other night. I doubt they were giving it the Full Ron Saunders though, given that they are focussed on the semi and already have the Leader's Shield.

The Dragons gave Hull KR short shrift: 28-10. Old Trafford for the grand final next. Yes!
