Well that's London Broncos down after a year in the top flight, fought well all season even beating Saints twice.

Shame for London. They made a decent fist of it. Think Toronto will stay up (if they get through the playoffs) so Wakey/Huddersfield/KR will be nervous next year.

Can't see anyone other than Saints or Wigan winning the league. Would love to be wrong.

I think fourteen teams would be better. Play each other home and away and one extra game for the Magic Weekend. Give every team a week off to make up for the extra travelling that comes from having a Canadian team (and maybe in an American team in a few years) in there.

Relieved that Huddersfield stayed up, we were pretty poor this season.

Are Toronto automatically promoted or do they still have to go through some kind of playoff ?

Cas are through. Warrington are out. The cup final was about the only game they won for the last couple of months it seems.

Cas play loser of Wigan v Salford next.

Don't like Wigan, St Helens or Salford. One of those is bound to win it. More interested in who comes up. Either Toronto or Toulouse would be good. The former would give a new dimension to the league while the latter would mean that my Catalans finally have a local derby.

Anyone other than Wigan or Saints would be a novelty. Warrington, Huddersfield and Castleford have all topped the league in recent years but the title invariably goes to Wigan, Saints or Leeds. Theoretically Toronto could come up and shake things up but I imagine they'll struggle to attract the best British talent. I guess for the Aussies it won't make much difference.

Saints look the best team. Warrington good, but not on a great run. Wigan were crap but have gone on a great run and will probably annoy me by winning it. Can't see anyone else being in it really.

What a result for Salford. They might not be everyone's cup of tea but at least it's someone different.

Brilliant result. Whatever the result against Saints let's hope they attract better support next season and add an extra dimension to the league.

When you lose to a team of NZ/Aussie rejects you know you have problems.
