All makes for good entertainment.  Looks like Warrington will be the team to beat he way they beat Cas but you can never rule out Saints.

Catalan Dragons 0 Salford 46. Fucking hell!

Almost as shocking as Wigan's start to the season !
Not to worry! Wigan beat Catalan Dragons 42-0 at the weekend.

SWMBO was supposed to be asking her boss about complimentary tickets for the return game at the Nou Camp but she didn't dare mention egg-chasing on Monday. She might chance it at the end of the week if he's calmed down.

Seems like when Catalans are bad, they're really bad.

I like the Catalans Dragons special Barça top that they will be wearing against Wigan at the Camp Nou.

Record attendance for a Super League game today at the Camp Nou (31,555) as Catalans Dragons beat Wigan Warriors 31-16.

We were supposed to go but couldn't face the 2 X 3 hour coach trip with pissed up Catalans from Perpignan (it would be like going with a load of Sandwell fans).

Is there not a train from Perpignan to Barcelona?

There is. A TGV no less. However, the timetable seems to have been thought up by someone in the Soviet Committee for State Transport and Logistics: the last train back was during the second half, there or thereabouts.

Ah, reminds me of our trips to St James' Park when Sky would always helpfully arrange the games to kick off an hour before the first train from New Street arrived.

The Dragons have failed to defend their Cup. They got hammered 51-8 by Hull FC in their 1/4 final yesterday.

Considering it was 1 v 2 this is still a shock today. Warrington lost about five on the bounce before this match. Saints bottling it again.

Yes and I expect Warrington or Wigan to do them in the Grand Final too.
