I'm not a massive fan, but I do have a soft spot for Wigan, as I lived there for 12 years, and for quite a while I lived a stone's throw from their old ground, Central Park (now the site of a Tesco), so went to a few games in the time of Martin Offiah and Denis Betts etc.  You could see into the ground from a bridge on the A49, and on each match day a fair crowd would always gather there. It was affectionately known as the DHSS stand.

I don't really give a bollocks about rugby league. I just enjoy the corporate freebies (i.e. tickets, unlimited food and drink) I get thanks to SWMBO. To be truthful, if there were only free tickets I wouldn't go ;-)

Be interested to see what sort of crowd they get. Wouldn't be amazed to see the NFL taking an interest if rugby can sell out the Nou Camp.

The president of FC Barcelona has promised to fill the ground for the Catalan Dragons. He said so to SWMBO's boss.

Edit. I already said in another post. I will be there as there will be tickets galore for this. My first time in the Camp Nou will be to watch egg- chasing
 FFS!

Might pop over for this.  A couple of my old Wigan mates are going.

Tony Adams to become Rugby League President in 2019...

Yeh...that Tony Adams. The nutcase Arsenal bloke who was an abject failure at football management is somehow the most qualified person to head up Rugby League. I’ll be putting in an application at NASA later today.

I'm in a predictions league at work this season and I'm out my depth in truth. My belief that Leeds would bounce back this season like the last time they had a bad year is costing me so far. That said, Wigan being useless is catching a lot of people out and Salford are so up and down it's ridiculous.
