Have any of our Stateside H&V'ers got any tips for this year's March Madness ?

I haven't paid much attention this season and haven't got a clue how I'll fill out my bracket when the tourney field is announced on the weekend

The late great Wilt Chamberlain would've turned 77 this week.

Can you spot him in his 4th Grade Class photo ?

wait... Wilt Chamberlain is dead?!?!

Is this a variation of the "Mickey's Dead !?!" exclamation that my mate Red comes out with every time Mantle's mentioned or did you seriously not know that Wilt died last century ?

Phil Jackson is back

He's signed a $12m per year deal to be President of the New York Knicks.

On paper this seems like a great idea but Dolan will find a way to feck this up.

Also, isn't there a conflict of interest in having Phil running the Knicks and his fiancée running the Lakers ?

Why is LeBron so unpopular?

Because of the way he acted when he left Cleveland for Miami. He made a big fuss about choosing a new team, made the announcement in a TV special and then had a welcome party where he predicted that he'd win eight or more championships in Miami. Overall he acted very strangely for someone who'd behaved very well throughout his High School hype and early years in Cleveland.

Now, a few years later, he's not the hated figure that he was but he'll never fully recover his previous reputation.

LeBron has opted out of his deal with the Heat and will become a free agent on Jul 1st.

He could still re-sign with Miami but he now has the option of moving.
