Oldham at home the week before the 1994 League Cup Final. 11 Disinterested Villa players handing the points to a relegation-battling Oldham side. Our only goal came when one of their players needlessly tucked a Froggatt cross into his own net. BFR said after the game, "You heard the booing? I started it."

Nothing to do with the team, but infamous skydiving accident at half time of the Arsenal game is 98 was a terrible thing to see,I can still hear the thud ringing around VP. He was the last one to come in,and it was apparent to my novice skydiving eye that he wasn't gonna make it.

On the plus side though was the fact that the halftime got delayed and we came back to win, does the club have any plans for Sky divers on Sunday?

The 0-3 defeat on Oldham's plastic pitch in the 1990 FA Cup semi final.

For me my only trip to Vicarage Road, Watford 13 September 1969. Watford were awful and they beat us 3 - 0 thats how bad we were. Some poor lad whose name escapes me made his debut at full back and was never seen again. 19,118 people robbed by awful game. Tickets were 2/6d total robbery.

Losing to Wimbledon at Plough Lane in the FA Cup to a Alan Cork goal in what seemed to be the last minute of an extremely long and wet game.

Losing to Wimbledon at Selhurst in the FA Cup to penalties taken in the fog at the other end of the ground.

These may not have ever happened or if they did, happened differently, but that's how I remember them.

Ha ha, what about losing to Wimbledon at Villa Park in the FA cup around '89/'90 with the goal line scrambled goal they scored. Even at the time watching it, the ball seemed to trickle into the holte end net in slow motion.

When we lost 3-0 at home to Wimbledon in the 89/90,it was the Saturday after we beat Spurs 2-0 and if we won, we wouldve gone 5 points clear of Liverpool. Platt missed a pen at nil nil, then they took us apart, our season started to fall apart from there.

Blues (rock bottom of the league) 3 Villa (European Champions) 0 Boxing Day 1982
Villa 0 Southampton 0 1985(6)  - 8,000 for a league match
Season 86-87 Bottom of the league
Villa 0 Wimbledon 3 1990  -  3 days after outclassing Spurs at WHL and going five points clear at the top. The start of a horrible slump
Villa 0 Coventry 0 1993 -  Walking out the ground and finding out Man Utd were still playing time added on against Sheff Weds

My Top 10 Shocking Villa monments are;

1) 03/03/03 - awful in every way imaginable.
2) FA Cup Qtr Final away at Oldham 89/90 - Bernie Gallagher on the wing, our fans fighting each other, Rick Holden playing like Johan Cryuff - a terrible nightmare.
3) 0-3 to Wimbledon at home 1990 - just when you thought we were about to win the League.
4) Turners last game in the 0-6 defeat at Forest - and we thought it couldn't get any worse.
5) The reign of Billy McNeill - Oh it could.
6) Hodge back pass against Norwich City 1987 - Probably the most memorable moment of that season as a hate figure was born.
6) Doncaster in the League Cup in 05 - The night I really hated the Villa and that fecking man who was our so called football manager at the time - oh God I hate him still.
7) The total abandonement of festive cheer in 1982 as we got stuffed at Blose - and I was in the Railway End too.
8) 0-3 against Spurs first game of the 87/88 season - So optimistic, we were tipped to do well by some.  After 30 minutes we knew we were in deep, deep shit for the whole season.
9) 0-3 away at Coventry in 1989/90 - Micky Quinn hat trick - kicked off everywhere, how they loved it too.
10) 2-2 home to Blose in 2002 - Stern John in the 3rd minute of injury time, Fistface jumping around on the pitch, bastards.

I don't think I have been to a game with so much hatred in the air. Even before kick off.
