Does anybody know anything regarding Pre-Season friendlies for this summer? I haven't seen anything anywhere and was wondering if I had missed something?
Sorry if there's already a thread on this.

Randy said we won't be playing in the USA and would likely stick to Europe.

I would be astounded if we didn't play a fairly well-known team at Villa Park in the fortnight before the season starts. In a friendly, that is, not a Europa League game.

I would rather play a Spanish team. Less likely for us to get kicked off the park. Plus they would probably let us win, like Inter and Fiorentina did. Celtic would treat it like a proper game.

All very well but I prefer the away games at outposts like Lincoln and Peterborough.

I wonder if our Brian has approached the Villa to send a VillaXI to Gainsbrough Trinity? Nice little run out for the Stiffs/Yoofs.

I would like a combination. One glamorous home friendly. Loads of games at small seaside towns. Villa could play at Brighton, Plymouth, Blackpool (if they don't come up) while our reserves played the day after at Torquay, Havant or Fleetwood. So Villa fans could watch both games and have a nice seaside weekend too.

Id like a couple of games in Scotland. I try to get up there each year for a holiday. Great scenery, visits to distilleries.
Just dont let the midges fly up your claret and blue kilt, and dont bump into Deadly Doug doing his salmon fishing.

I hope we play Celtic. I might turn up in a Rangers shirt.

I'm hoping for somewhere exotic, like Walsall.
