I thought the club was actively looking for a money sponsor for next season? Fair enough really, have had 2 years with no money.

I believe that it was initially a 12 month 'deal' however Acorns ran into trouble so Villa strecthed to another year.

The 'deal' whereby Villa supported Acorns was both a blessing and a problem  to Acorns in that the charity 'lost' a great deal ts income from previous income sources with the public giving to other charities believing that Acorns did not need their money as it was 'backed' by Villa.

I think that Villa gave them another year to sort themselves out (Acorns).

May be wrong ...............
