A generous Sussex declaration would be nice tomorrow as well....

Weather forcast for Bournemouth (only 30m west from Soton :) )
generally fine, dry with sunny periods with variable cloud. The sun will often be hazy. It will turn cloudy at times, with the risk of the odd shower.
hope that helps.
I think the Yorks/Kent game will have a positive result ( weather permitting) as they both need to win.
Our game can really only have 2 results, draw or Bears win. Hants dont have enough time to build up a big enough lead to declare and bowl us out. I can see it petering out into a tame draw, finishing at the earliest possible time.

I agree about our game, we could do with a early finish so the boys can head up to London for the final on Sat

Hampshire are 59 - 7 so they still trail the Bears by 22 runs. We could be on for a victory here!

Edit, good job too because it looks like Kent will beat the Tykes.

Great effort over the last three or four games.  There's a lot of work to be done on the batting though, before next season, because the bowlers have been the ones responsible for us staying up  this year.  I believe Tahir won't be there next season so I reckon a batting overseas player is a must.  But then that leaves us light on spin so we should probably go for another overseas player, a bowler - preferably a spinner.  But can we afford it?

Well, well, well. So much for the inevitable relegation of a month or two ago!

Roll on Lord's and the chance to put an even better gloss on the season.

And, speaking from my adopted home in Lancashire, it was rather good to see Yorkshire lose when a win would have given them the title.

A shite season could end up as a superb season if we win on Saturday now. Even if we don't, winning the last three Championship games to stay up was a Herculean effort... even Westwood scored some runs!

Bears and Pears in the top flight next year, might pop to New Road to watch the derby as have never been to an 'away' game. Will take my wellies.

C'mon you Bears! Brilliant effort to stay up in the CC, now to do the business at Lords and win the 40 overs competition.

Promotion for the Pears. An amazing achievement after 4 of our best players deserted and we were widely tipped to finish bottom of division 2. See you next season Bears!
