Has anyone spotted Heskey mooching around Blackburn estate agents yet?

No need, he still lives in Cheshire.

the daily mirror is satan and NOONE should mention any filth riddled story that eminates from it.if joleon lescott is worth 24 million then (it pains me to say his name) james "cash whore" milner is worth 30 million then ashley young, who said he would like to sign a new contract with us 2 days ago is worth more than the whole of the spurs squad put together!!!!!!! i am sure it has been said many times b4 but although it is unpleasant to lose one of our best players in the whore,we cannot lose our best player in ash simple as.

From the Celticblog:

Though Martin reminisces about McGeady playing “against AC Milan in the Champions League at Celtic Park and he was absolutely fantastic” he has not watched Aiden not playing absolutely fantastic against anyone in the last few months and as long as he keeps thinking that Aiden is that player he saw against Milan and he forgets that he once signed Shaun Maloney on the same type on memories.

I just don't understand our interest in McGready. Every Celtic site I've read think they're getting a stupid price for him (£8m) and that although he's decent, it won't be difficult to replace him. The Milan game was nearly 6 years ago, ffs.

MON believes he can revive failing or under performing players. He believes he can get back the McGeady of Milan.

that is what he is known for

Can Blackburn afford the £60,000 per week that Heskey is 'earning' at Villa ?

disclaimer - £60k per week according to another thread on here.

For £2m i'd carry Heskey up the M6.  I might need a hand though, any takers?

Bit worried they're still on about McGeady though, i've never been that impressed with him and he seems overpriced to me.  I just wish we'd look beyond these shores for once.

I like the look of McGeady to be honest. Can play with both feet so him and Young in the same team might work. The Irish 3 of Keane,Ireland,McGeady with big Dunny leading them looks good. Could turn out to be a big piss up tho.

So this lot should convince MON that he is NOT  the Christ reincarnation and should  give up  his quest for sainthood and concentrate on being a  football coach!!

I back him with this one. Have to say i havn't seen much of him but the bits i have seen suggest at least he can beat a man and is entertaining to watch. We could cirtainly do with a player like that. Admittedly, its hardly the kind of signing we envisaged at this point of the '5 year plan' but i trust his judgement. I think it's daft to compare with Maloney, they are 2 different people. Just because one didn't settle it doesn't automatically mean the other won't.

To be fair though, Heskey and Routledge didn't cost much. L Young has been brilliant, they just don't seem to get on (which is more my worry with MON). NRC hasn't been bad football wise, just similar problems to Young. Downing still has time to pull it round (although i'd prefer him to be warming the bench from the start of the season). The others have been poor though and i'd be glad to see the back of them, probably at a loss of about £12m.

Everytime I've seen Blackburn play I've thought they were crying out for a 'defensive striker'. This one could have legs.
