If you think it's so easy go ahead and do it.

I'd go as far as saying that, when it's a lengthy piece, 95% of what Maz writes in fabulously readable....whether you agree or not. It seems to me (and I know very little of how a newspaper works), that the editor will give instructions that the articles are to be drab, dull, not necessarily acurate page-fillers. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the journalist is drab and dull and has no particular love for the truth.

But I'd much rather read something as humourous/angry/militant/scathing/insightful as what Mazrim comes out with than the insomnia-curing shit that's in the paper. Maybe that's why it's dying on it's arse.

Agreed.

Don't doubt Kendrick's Villa supporting credentials, and it's nice to read an article without the third rate sarcasm and damning with faint praise that Howell so frequently indulged in.

It was so clear that bloke was on a wind up at times.

That is absolutely spot on about Howell.

If they've worked out that a right-back plays on the right at the back, maybe they aren't so clueless afterall. (winky effort)

Good point, but it's just about the only clue they have.

As much as I like Maz when he goes off on one I think if Mat Kendrick wrote a back page article full of bile, vitriol and completely undisguised attacks on our neighbours, as amusing as it might be, he wouldn't be in the job for long.

according to the mirror, dodgy Uncle 'Arry's getting desperate and has put out the bat-signal to MON in the hope of selling his tat

Villa and Birmingham on alert as Spurs drop asking price for Keane

Spurs have dropped Robbie Keane's price tag to £8million in a bid to offload the striker this summer.

The Republic of Ireland ace does not feature in boss Harry Redknapp's plans after he was loaned out in January to Celtic.

And Tottenham are now desperate to sell the striker as Redknapp plots a major overhaul of his squad for the Champions League.

Redknapp is after a big-name striker to bolster his attack, with Ajax's Uruguay hitman Luis Suarez a possibility.

And he also wants Micah Richards of Manchester City and Curtis Davies of Aston Villa to bolster his injury-prone defence.

But first Redknapp is determined to sell Keane, who organised an unauthorised players' Christmas party to Ireland last year.

Tottenham, who paid Liverpool £12m to re-sign Keane in January 2009, were holding out for £10m.

But Spurs are now willing to accept a minimum cash-down payment of £6m with various add-ons worth around £2m.

And both Villa and Birmingham are both keen on the much-travelled striker.

Fair price, reasoned argument, shame it's been written by the Mirror as it is prbably shite!!

Get your cheque book randy- let's get keano in and I will be delighted if he's our 1st signing.

Greg, I noticed in previous posts you quoted a lot of Liverpool and spurs forums , out of interest how come you go on there , and do you post on them?

I wouldn't even give them the satisfaction or infamy of writing about them in print.

So let me get this right. Villa are after Keane, Spurs are after Davies and Spurs are asking us for money in order to raise money to buy new players including Davies...
Even the most modestly gifted imbecile would conclude that, having gone to the trouble of inventing a link between Redknapp and Davies, some sort of deal could be struck.

The only reason Birmingham are linked is because Nursey is apparently one of the Darts shirt wearing untermensch.

I'd do the deal for a straight swap.

if 'arry goes for that price for Davies, then MON is indeed a genius in the transfer market

Fuck 'em Greg. They want him off the wage bill, they're desperate for another centre half that can actually stand up, and Davies is 5 years younger than Keane.
