Well, we've got potentially a lot of fixtures next season before we win the League Cup, FA Cup, Europa League (unfortunately we finish third in the league). So an alternative to Warnock will still see plenty of games.

That said, how many Iberian based full backs have we been linked to now? Is there one left?

And how pointless is the Birmingham Mail now? It used to have the odd scoop and the nationals would follow it. Now its the other way around with them quoting every spurious link from the nationals/tabloids the day after when everybody has already got bored of it.

Benayoun to Chelski is really gathering momentum. Potentially another really good player happy to go to a Chumps League club to be a bit-part player and substitute. Just another example of how the CL and allowing 7 substitutes in PL matches is killing any semblance of competitiveness domestically.

Yeah but I wouldnt be suprised if he buys a good full back and then never gets a game.      Hope MON has learned by his mistake of playing the same bloody players ;-)

Or he could be thinking sign a Left Back and move Warnock into Centre Mid, where he played quite well for Blackburn.
