Doyle is just a grafter with little more than skill and endeavor, much to admire about him, but he is no more than 6-7 million worth.

and strong like forward, at least get an upgrade of what we already have.. Zigic is not an upgrade. Kevin Doyle is an upgrade. Maybe Zamora or C Cole are too.

After watching Milito last night, a good finisher should be our priority.We have the pace, and the energy, and endevour, we need the quality.Thats why i would try and sign Forlan.......a acheaper option, don't laugh , might be Chopra.

 Your right mate,we've got something special in the Fonz. Gabby benefited from being thrown in at the deep end,though they were under harsher times,but the Fonz is naturally a better player,so he needs to play more games next season.

Zigic is like Crouch with beef, and better in the air. I'd have him. He'd be an improvement over Heskey, and probably be fitter than Carew. At 6ft 7 he might just be tall enough to head in Ash's overhit crosses! Carew's too short! But Zigic is a pretty useful footballer for his size. He's not like say Jan Koller who was just a huge brick wall and not much else.

I'd take Miguel too. He's a bit of an unpredictable character and could cause a bit of trouble, but if we keep him in line and get him playing, he's a decent attacking fullback. He's got pace too. Having a quality attacking fullback on that side would certainly help our game going forward.

Koller would be alright if he wasn't 53 years old, really difficult for defenders to deal with.

Zigic is pretty decent, and surprisingly Crouch-esque in technique considering he looks like he should probably be playing basketball instead. I'm pretty sure he's been touted around by Valencia for the last three years though, and seemingly no-one wants to buy him.

Miguel is very fat, likes to get pissed, smokes cigars and hasn't played football for probably two years or something now. They'd probably release him on a free if someone asked.

Agreed think he would be a good signing and would soften the blow if we have to trade Milner - he's a bit like David Platt makes intelligent runs, nobody marks him and he bags plenty of goals.

Can't believe 15 million is now the valuation for Robbie Keane and to think John Gregory thought half a million was too expensive.
