I rate him, too.

I don't know if they can work together or not, but 12 games is hardly concrete evidence to suggest they can.

he was on loan of course and Celtic were desperate to buy him before MON resigned. But Bellamy preferred to stay in the PL.

He is a total pain in the arse but the kind of player we are desperate for, he is a pain because he cares for the game so much.

I don't disagree at all. He'd be good for us.

However, I will have a tenner with anyone who fancies it right now, that this summer we sign one of Carlton Cole, Bobby Zamora or Kevin Doyle.[/b]

I am confident we will see the departures of L Young, Beye, Sidwell and Heskey in the summer but haven't got a scooby doo who we will bring in.

Man Citeh will have a clear out in the summer whether they make top four or not so I would be confident of us picking up Ireland.

For me SWP is no better than what we already have out wide and he seems more interested in earning as much as Tevez and Co than anything else. Most of my mates are season ticket holders t Wastelands and would love to see the back of him - f he's not good enough for them I don't see why we would need him.

As for Michael Johnson; he's about 3 stone overweight and spends more time injured than anything else so will pass on him.

well the stats on his signings so far say he'll go for a reserve from a top half premier team (30%). my guess is Keane on that

then he often goes for 1st team players in lower half teams (38%). your guess is as good as mine but i'd suggest a webcam at the nearest travel lodge to west ham.

and lower league or relegated teams is the next likely destination (19%) i feel pompey may be on his hit list but again who knows?

and scotland of course.

I'd take Bellamy and Ireland from City.

nohing to bite at. there's millions of pounds worth of players that can't get a game and the ones on the bench seem incapable of offering a challenge to the first XI,

Craig Bellamy, come on down. I think he's the answer.

I'd take Bellamy and Ireland from City.

I've always been anti-Bellamy for all the baggage he would bring with him. After almost a whole season without major incident, I'm definitely warming to the idea.

Ireland would be fantastic and I'd like to think Dunne would have a quiet word in his ear about how great things are at Villa Park.

But Dunne and Bellamy don't get on, do they?

Well MON has gone for him at least twice before, and on the first occasion Bellamy chose West Ham over us.

I'd be wary of his injury record in recent years, but the biggest obstacle to any move might be Bellamy himself. He'll probably be expecting Inter Milan to come in for him.

We need a clearout before we buy, we have so many players on big bucks that will not get near first team action.

Ireland would be top of my list. And if buying from City, Santa Cruz would be my second target. Bellamy is approaching 30 and 1 injury away from the end unfortunately and as such simply not worth the 10 million or so he would cost. The other 2 would be fairly cheap too.

Richards in at right back would not be a bad idea, although Naughton on the cheap from Spurs might also be a way to go.

We need a Wright Phillips type IMO that will go outside his full back and simply make things happen, although I am sure there are better than him in the continent.

Finally we need a top holding midfield player, or give Warnock a run there and buy a left back. IF we can keep Milner, competition and options to keep him fresh are a must, as in the last 6 weeks he has had one good, one poor game, and often looked very very leggy.

Arsenal boss Wenger already has Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, central defenders Brede Hangeland of Fulham and Gary Cahill of Bolton and midfield man James Milner of Aston Villa on his radar. - Sunday Mirror.

That lot could get them a title.
But thankfully, Arse doesn't spend. He'll continue to plod along with his kids, many of whom are a bunch of Fannies.
