In his early days he bought a lot of players, it is only really since the stadium move started that he has reigned it in to the extent he has now. He has said he wants 3 top players this summer. Get them (centre back, centre mid and centre forward) and the others att he top could be a long way behind next season. IF they keep Fabregas of course.

According to the papers, Onohua at £4m would be a bargain, as would Ireland at £4m.


   I'm not so sure the top 4 is as tied up as people on here think.Ure without Rooney have'nt really over impressed, Chelsk....how many players over 30?, Arse, big season for them next year, if they don't win anything can see Moaner going.Lplop....forget them.So if we buy a couple of decent options in midfield/strikers, we will be closer than this year.

No. He'd probably go to Spurs with Arry. If that mean we could snag Kranjcar off them, or maybe even Bentley, that could add depth to our squad.

I thought Cole had agreed to go to citeh for really stupid money £150k p/w or something daft like that.

Citeh will be looking to cash in on players surplus to requirements.  I wouldn't mind Onohua, Petrov and Ireland.  I think they will all be available in the summer.

Versatile too, which could be handy as a replacement for both Bouma and Beye, maybe even Luke if he gets the hump and looks for 1st team football this summer.

If we went shopping at Man City, I wouldn't mind us putting a bid in for Onuoha. Can play anywhere in defence but is a very good right back in my book.

I would like:

A proper right back that can both tackle and overlap.

A shouty goalkeeper who is insane enough to venture out of the six yard box.

A No. 10.

A goalscorer who surprises you by not always scoring when receiving the ball in the penalty area.

A defensive midfielder who frightens everybody but the tea-lady.

If Heskey/Carew leave ...

One TOP class striker and another decent one. Two is a minimum.

A TOP class defensive / holding midfielder to go alongside Milner (or whoever is picked in that role in any specific game)

A TOP class creative midfielder (to play as and when, mix and match formations depedning on opposition)


Absolutely NO squad fillers or bench warmers. If the players coming in aren't seen as 'starters' by the gaffer. Then please don't bother bringing them in

We already have enough to fill the bench and will have even more when someof current crop have to start getting splinters when rotated
