Quite like us in the summer to get Richards, Hleb or JCole, the young striker at Bburn, Dorrans, and Piquoonie, whatever from Pompey....all would add to what we have, and sell some of the dead wood.

Would HATE to see us get the Lurch-faced Joe Cole. Thankfully his inevitable ridiculous wage demands mean he's more likely to go to Citeh. Barry would probably then go to Spuds and be reunited with the manager who wanted him when he wasn't already an established England international.

I'd like to see Joe Cole playing for us. I think he'd offer something we don't currently have: a bit of guile, a bit of vision, a bit of flair.

I think I'd probably be slightly pickier than anyone but I would like to see Martin cast his net a lot wider.

Well quite but he's severely limiting his chances of getting good players if he's only prepared to consider those already established in British football.

I don't care where the players come from either but, given that our financial resources aren't limitless, disregarding the European and world markets is an odd strategy to say the least. I genuinely don't know the reason behind it and I can't think of a successful club that operates the same policy.

Strangely (or not) it mirrors his celtic dealings. 2 were signed from non-uk clubs as far as i can make out. Exactly the same as here.

Trouble with that Maz is that all the good ones are spoken for or will be paid massively over the odds to go to the oil barons.

Not exactly "wanted" but wouldn't be surprised if MON tried to get Jimmy Bullard. I would like to think that he would be a little more adventurous though but it would be a typical MON signing.
