If they don't manage it this year, and by god they're trying, they will certainly manage to relegate them soon. They are horrific.

Maybe the Porndwarf could speak to the ICF about raising funds. I seem to remember they made a killing (as well as stabbings and serious beatings) with the rave scene a few years back.

He was interviewed at length on Radio 2 at about 7pm last night.  He seemed amazed at the level of costs at WHU, which can only mean he did zero due diligence before parting with his hard earned.  I hope it wipes the pair of them out for good.  If they take West Ham down with them, so much the better.

Risso, how is it possible for a company not to do due diligence? I would have thought the banks insisted or at least strongly advised when it's a straight cash purchase.

If it is the case they didn't bother, they should shut the fuck up as they've only got themselves to blame.

I think he is making a big flap and pretending to be surprised, to give himself an excuse for (a) getting relegated and (b) sacking everybody. he wants to be boss of a Premier League football club but he wants to do it on a Championship budget.

This I find very strange.  But then again, Sullivan and Gold are nothing more than Barrow boys made good.  I think they're constant babbling to the media shows a level of insecurity and is covering up any real business acumen.

I never really had too much of a problem with West Ham before these reptilians bought them.  Now I'd love to see them relegated.

It's such a shame that they left the Blose.  The Chinesse have alot of hard work to do to match the scale of Muppetry and ill feeling that the Pornmeister and Tumnus achieved.

Mike Ashley didn't do due diligence at Newcastle, the on the day he picked up the keys he found out Freddie Shepherd had stuffed debts in the back of every cupboard, and they'd spunked the next 5 years sponsorship money away already.

Not to mention him not understanding that clubs don't pay the entirety of transfer fees up front and they had plenty left to pay.

There can't be many industries like football, which make even extremely successful and experienced businessmen look like total chumps.

I imagine they did due diligence, he probably just didn't understand the results.

With the fact that there is little chance of Blues getting relegated I wouldn't be too disappointed if they beat West Ham tonight.

Wolves and West Ham to go down. Pompey are certainties sadly.

Gold and Sullivan are simply media whores. Love the sound of their own voices. What a pair of twats.

It certainly seems that way. Sullivan is like rent-a-quote at the moment. Every five minutes he's blathering on about something in the media. It says a lot about what an idiot he's being that Zola of all people slated him publicly.

If he wants to bang on about the state of the clubs finances and start trying to reduce players contracts it might be wise for him to wait until the summer when we know we've managed to avoid relegation.

Yes-in one Risso. Due diligence is a process-a bit like risk assessment. Just because you do it , it does not mean that it will always prevent problems. It mainly means you have taken the trouble to look.
I would defy anyone in finance to be completely confident of anyone's accounts (even their own) at any one time. Most things become apparent in retrospect.

Wise words Sendo, I have a lot of West Ham s/ticket holders that live near me and they are generally worried about losing their P/League status.

I've not followed all the postings on this Sendo but i guess you are beginning to see what everyone here was banging on about.
We had Ellis for years and I guess we know one when we see one. Sadly for West Ham-you get three of them.
