Barry signs back up at the Villa

Can't see him getting many games at city with their potential new signings and he's probably not going to hold onto his England place as capello has said he will bring younger players in now.

If Barry were to leave city I can't imagine they would get more than maybe £6m for him and I personally don't think he's worth that as he is one paced and too old- however i would say £4m he would be worth a punt as he is versatile and could do a job for us .

He might sit it out in their reserves and take the cash though .

too old by then. Never go back.

I'm happy Andy Gray did.

Which time? The second time he fucked us off or the third time he fucked us off?

If Man City do well and get into the champions League then they can attract the top players with their money.  Barry will be dropped like a stone and we'll probably pick him up for £4m - £5m.

I'd certainly have him back.

I wouldn't best days, like his arse, are behind him.

I agree now but at the time when I made the quote (last October) I would have.  His World Cup performances have made me realise we can do better.

I'd only have Barry back if we paid nothing for him.

I've forgotten about that fat arsed one paced sod ever playing for us.

When I saw this thread I thought it was about Bannan getting a new contract.

He played for us for a long time and I was reading an old thread a while back and he came up in it. In O'Leary's last season he was 24 years old and one of our best players. If he was surrounded with a better team then like he was before he left things could have been so different.
