Movin' on........ this Friday I'll be in DC for the epic Rockies @ Nationals series. If ever there was a series that meant absolutely nothing, this is it.

However, I'll be following up with my Red Sox @ Baltimore Orioles for three games.

Whilst in Baltimore I was going to try to visit some of "The Wire" locations. However having read this article I think I'll stick to the relative safety of the Inner Harbor.

Yeah picking up Dunn should help our offence but our defence is going to be suspect now that we have lost Orlando Hudson for the year.

Just got back to the hotel after the first game of my trip. The Colorado Rockies @ Washington Nationals. Both are really bad teams.

Last night I saw them lose their 10th game in a row.

I'm just about to head up to Baltimore now to watch the Red Sox @ Orioles.

I'm glad to see that you've all been keeping up the baseball chatter while I'm over here in the States  ](*,)

Anyhow, I've just got two games left now of my 17 game trek up and down the eastern seaboard.

I'm currently sat in New York Penn Station (First Class lounge, I'll have you know  :-  ) about to head up to Boston for two games at the legendary Fenway Park.

The last two days I've been at the Boston Red Sox @ New York Yankees games in da Bronx. Wow, what an atmosphere. Just like Villa v Blues (but maybe with more arrests).

Last night I headed straight from Yankee Stadium to Coney Island (90 mins on the NYC Subway system) for a Brooklyn Cyclones Minor League game.

If any of you are ever in the USA, check to see if the town/city you're in has a Minor League baseball team. Its a great evening's entertainment and very cheap. I paid just 14 dollars for the best seat in the ballpark.

+55,000 in attendance on a thursday afternoon, without segregation!

I was in Section 610 in the upper deck just on the third base side of home plate.

Yes, the new ballpark looks great. Very "Roman Coliseum-esque".

Sadly (  :-  ) I didn't make a final trip to Shea. Not that anyone's mourning the loss of that venue.

Loved the fact that they have people selling beer and snacks to people in their seats.

I also have a soft spot for SF gIants and the Marlins, having seen them on previous trips.
