I am going to see the Royals take on my Diamondbacks on Sunday.

Interleague play is one of Bud Selig's best innovations.

The snakes looked great early in the season and I thought they'd run away with the NL West. Now, I'm not so sure.

We have good pitching but very little run support and we play awful defence. But as bad as the NL West is you never know.
At least we showed some fight against the Mets.

The greatest book ever written.

The first "tell all" sports book that broke the sanctity of the locker room.

Even if someone has no interest in baseball it's still a great read because of the characters involved.

A quick post to recognise the perseverance of Robinson Cancel catcher for the New York Mets.

9 years after his last appearance he finally made it back to Major League Baseball.

If you ask Willie Randolph, the only requirement to play for the Mets these days might be to be Hispanic......

Yeah, surrre. I liked it a lot and there's at least one laugh out loud moment per day and I'd recommend it to anyone but I wouldn't go that far.

I stand by my assertion.

Similar, slightly humourous, books I'd recommend are

Also, "Catcher in the Wry" by Bob Uecker

"Howard, Hamels lead Phillies over Red Sox 8-2"

hopefully Brett Myers won't have to face the Sox this series.....

Sox win game 2

Yankees have now won 5 on the trot and are starting to look ominous.

I think that the combination of Haren and Webb, together with young hitters like Justin Upton, should allow the D'Backs to run away with the NL West.
