It is still rounders.

I'd like to see you face one of the top pitchers throwing at over 95mph and then call it rounders.

Baseball was based on the English game of rounders. Rounders become popular in the United States in the early 19th century, where the game was called "townball", "base", or "baseball". Cartwright formalized the modern rules of baseball

It's rounders then.

Calm down dear - it's only a rounders game. It's clearly and oft-admitted, a derivative of rounders.

Well done Barry, you've got the record** ......... now retire !!

[** Technically only the "Major League" record. He's still some way short of Sadaharu Oh's total and no one really knows how many Josh Gibson hit]

It is still rounders.

But it's true - go research. Whether or not it looks like it nowadays is another thing altogether.

Sox win Game 5 of the ALCS.

It's back to Fenway for Game 6 on Saturday

Also, Joe Torre turns down a 1 year, $5m contract offer thus ending his 12 year reign as manager of "The Evil Empire"

....and the Sox win Game 6 as well.

Its a decisive Game 7 at Fenway tonight with "Dice-K" pitching for Boston.

The winners will face a well rested and in form Colorado Rockies team in the Series.
