Beer does the trick. They cant get enough of the brown stuff and will ignore your lettuces just to get drunk and fall in. Its more humane than salt water too.

Sod humane.  I've hated the slimy little gits ever since they started trying to eat my sunflowers years ago.  Also if you step on them by accident its all squelchy.

In the Bay Area he's a hero, but in the rest of the country I'd say he's a villain.

The bad feeling towards Bonds isn't just because of the steroid use (he's admitted to "unknowingly" taking them), its also because he appears to be an arrogant, obnoxious, rude and downright unlikeable person.
