Bloke caked in baby oil, pumped full of steroids with a mullet to win after recovering after a bloke caked in baby oil, pumped full of steroids with a mullet smashed him in the face with a hot iron and then reversed over him in a Burger Van

It is considered a sport due to the fact that it is ! It is an event at The Olympic Games

There's a whole World, no, a whole Universe of difference between Olympic wrestling and the stuff my son was watching this morning (Raw?). Some bloke apparently got twatted with a sledgehammer and then got up with not a scratch on him and "won".

It's all real of course.

Daytime programmes are edited so younger audiences can watch them. Most of it is not real violence (prob because one punch from most of the wrestlers would kill their opponent !) - but the chirographed moves, injuries and pain are real ( the bit at 2.05 is very fake !!)...

It's escapism - we all do different things to get away from reality.

Whether it be watching football, soaps, playing on computers, making sarcastic comments on message boards that show ignorance for the subject, etc....

...doing this four/five nights a week must be a piece of piss !!

Only one title change and that was little bastard turning up to win the cruiserweight championship.

Someone was trying to convince me, quite excitedly, on Sunday night that there are "certain" steroids that you can take to lose weight and have absolutely no side effect. Deluded.

Much better off with a calorie-controlled diet and 3x20 minutes of exercise a week.

Which is my new regime - guess what? It works!

What a shock. When I first started bodybuilding I got the diet totally wrong and at my worst, had a 39" waist. Currently have a 32" waist but I'm cutting up further and should be 30" in about 5 weeks. I used to lose half an inch each week but now there's not much fat, it's quarter of an inch a week.

Can I pm you the morrow re diet?

If you still want me to look at your diet, works slow at the moment but looks like it's going to pick up later in the week and I might be busy from next week onwards.

Received. I'll do a good job for you and get something across in a few days. I'm not a qualified personal trainer but have been training for 10 years, so although I don't have qualifications, I've got experience.

If you're comfortable to do so, it would help if there are any medical conditions to be aware of and to know what your workouts involve (not the one's with the new Mrs!) For instance, if you had high blood pressure, I wouldn't know what you can do safely so I would tell you what I do and leave it to you know/seek advice on whether that's ok for you to do.
