Play nicely now Ro-land. It's not as if everyone takes the piss out of your penchant for Simple Minds. Oh, hang on.

What?? What did I do? You mean you don't know what we're talking about on this thread, shame on you - The Plasterer will take you down!!!!!! Unless The Diaper gets you first - he's shit hot.

Be careful, if you piss him off he'll put you into the arse-grab-super-death lock.

Martty J was in the WWE for a bit last year if you remember and he was going to sign full time until the WWe found out he wasn't aloud in certain states after drink related problems while in the WWE before!

Sports Entertainment. The results are predetermined.

Not like any other sports have ever been accused of having fixed results, is it ?

Football is one, isn't it ?!?

Also -

fake [fayk]
n (plural fakes)
1. something not genuine: somebody who or something that is not genuine but is presented as, or appears to be, genuine

Encarta ® World English Dictionary © & (P) 1998-2004 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

It's called sports entertainment. Some people enjoy the storylines.

Just because it is premeditated (like plays, pantos, films, soaps and most forms of entertainment) doesn't mean it is fake.

Fake implies they are telling you it is real violence, when infact there are clear warnings in the programmes that tell you it is not...

How can this not be real ?!?!

So it's theatre then, or like ballet but with more drugs and sweaty muscles and a few less tutu's?

If so then get it the f*ck off the sport's channels.

Well, WWE is more athletic theatre.

It is considered a sport due to the fact that it is ! It is an event at The Olympic Games and there is competetive wrestling which is not planned out...

You generally know who is going to win but every now and again there is a surprise.

I used to know that the A-team would build a vehicle out of chicken wire and sticky back plastic and beat the baddies but it was still entertaining.

If you don't want to watch it or talk about it then don't.

There's a whole World, no, a whole Universe of difference between Olympic wrestling and the stuff my son was watching this morning (Raw?). Some bloke  apparently got twatted with a sledgehammer and then got up with not a scratch on him and "won".

It's all real of course.
