Face - good guy.
Heel - bad guy.

So IanB is a Face and you are a Heel?

Why are they called Face and Heel - what's wrong with goodie or baddie?

I would call Ian many things, and face is certainly not one of them.

Dunno why - it's just the way it is.

It's not really her face you're interested in though, is it?

If people see loads of new posts on this thread, they'll assume another wrestler has died.

No reason to quote you, Bazz, except for Torrie.

Of the current crop, Kelly Kelly - so damn good they named her twice.
Of the recent past, Stacy Keibler (legs from here to YA-YA as Lenny from The Simpsons would say) and Stephanie McMahon (even if she does look just a little bit like her father and brother; so, so wrong)

Oh, sorry greenwichvilla, you asked about favourite wrestlers didn't you? VillaSubmariner distracted me with good old Torrie.

As much as I hate the whole Jedward / Brangelina / name-merging crap, JeriShow amuses me every time and I think they work brilliantly in and out the ring. The whole spurned lover conversation outside the arena a couple of weeks ago, the Santa angle the week before, that stupid shit keeps me chuckling for ages.

I respect Cena for the way he hasn't let fans booing the hell out of him distract him or get him down and instead creates matches that feed off it with the punch exchanges giving us suckers a chance to BOO and YAY in turn.

Santino I love watching because I watch WWE to be amused as much as to be entertained. His 'Greatest Intercontinental Champion Of All The Times' and the 'Honk-a-meter' should've been allowed to run longer in my opinion.

Vickie Guerrero: Eddie would be proud. She's worked so hard on her mic skills and pushes that button EVERY time. SmackDown's a much richer place for having her back.

In terms of actual wrestling tho, Orton and Edge (when he wasn't injured) are at the forefront at the moment. They're both great heels and workers and the character they put forward in promos they always take into the match. Orton's recent work in putting over Kofi (who I am also impressed with) shows a real class and maturity he previously lacked. Will be disappointed that they'll bring Edge back as face but can't see that lasting long. Him and Jericho feuding should be good tho.

Oh and CM Punk too. He's taken Edge's role and run with it and as much as Jeff Hardy irritates the hell out of me, their feud was really well developed.

Goes without saying about HBK and Taker. When it comes to the big event, they ALWAYS deliver. Even more surprising in Taker's case with his knees. If they don't let that guy retire unbeaten at WM, I'll be REALLY disappointed.

I really ought to get ready to go to Blackburn now. I was going to leave at 9!

Sorry Guy, I may have been seeing things, but I'm sure you just wrote quite a long post discussing wrestling as if it's a serious sport!

Hang on...there's a wrestler called Sheamus? So my middle name is finally cool again. I thought Marty McFly's uncle had done it irreparable damage back in the 80's (or was it the 1880's?).

Orton and Jericho are brilliant. Christian is under-used, the writing though is currently shit. Need longer matches. Bring back Paul Heyman as a writer. Looking forward to Edge coming back as well. DX have sadly become rather irritating, though I would give Michaels another run as Champion in the near future. Him and Orton/Jericho could put on some absolute classics.
Seeing Bret Hart last week almost brought a tear to my eye as well. The Best.
TNA? It's like WCW c.1998 all over again, though Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles and Angle should be in the WWE.
