I just read the report for TNA... Sounds like a clusterfuck to me.

That was fucking awesome.

EDIT - Divas tournament. Oh god. Where's my booze...

Stayed up late and live for it Hazz? Fair play! Would've done the same if they'd called the Blackburn game off last night.

Great start to the programme, but disappointed with the end. I want to see HBK involved in the feud. The new Hart Foundation too.

I really liked Hart's "well I guess hell froze over" comment tho. Pretty funny.

I was "working". Yeah, the ending was a bit bleh, but they've got months, let's hope they don't fuck this up (they will, somehow they will). I read a recap of Impact, it sounds catastrophically terrible, I must see it.

The more I think about RAW, the more I think you're right. Nothing on Vince on the mic after the act. The stage has been set and the storyline can now start properly.

Personally I think TNA are foolish to have gone with AJ-Angle as the main event on this show. There was SO MUCH going on and old WWE talent (be it main event like Jeff or jobbers like OJ) getting revealed that I would've gone with something else and announced that match for next week.

Then again, maybe they figured this was their one-time shot at a certain share of the audience and the best thing to do was go with the very best they had to offer.

It's shocking how little of TNA's real talent was used tho. No Beer Money or MCMG is especially noticeable, considering they carried the tag division for so long. And yet they give tv time to the Nasty Boys?! Oh Hogan. How could you?!

Still, interesting times await us.

As long as it ends with McMahon bleeding in a Sharpshooter, I'm cool.

If I'd never seen TNA before, that Impact wouldn't convince me to 'cross the line' (and I'm going by what TNA fans have told me about the show).

Like I said, Guy, it seemed a mess (MCMG were in the big match at the beginning that Jeff Hardy* finished).

I think TNA are trying to say they're a wrestling show, not sports entertainment so it probably makes sense to have two technical wrestlers headline, rather than all the middle aged blokes.

In fact, Hogan said they weren't going to go down the old nWo route as it's been done before (jab at DX?).

I like John Cena, but Raw didn't suffer from his absence did it?

*I thought he was still under contract to WWE, but on sabbatical?

Oh yes, I forgot they got squeezed in there. I couldn't face reading the transcripts of the matches and that's why I forgot.

Think Jeff's contract was up and he didn't want to renew it. Which in a way was good for WWE (and Linda McMahon) when he allegedly got stopped with that large amount of drugs in his possession.

OK and they say they're not going to go down the nWo route... and yet, there we have Hall, Nash, X-Pac and Bischoff in the ring and looking confused. Sounds like the old nWo to me.

Like I've said before, I think TNA has a good product and some great young guys. I can see how they can benefit from Hogan's presence and even Bischoff's. But Hall and Waltman? They're taking tv time away from good, solid reliable workers. And The Nasty Boyssssszzzzzzzzzzzz...

I think it's good that wrestlers like Angle and Hardy now have an alternative, when the WWE schedule is SO very intense and doesn't necessarily suit everybody's physical state or lifestyle choice. I just think it's a shame that some of this opportunity is going to be wasted on Hogan's old boys network. And Ric Flair. Because I just don't like him.

Not seen TNA yet, but Raw was amazing!

Great to see Bret back on WWE TV, looking forward to seeing where they will take this now, considering Bret can't wrestle anymore.

The big shock is seeing Hardy in TNA. You're right when you say TNA's schedule is a lot lighter and there isn't as much travel involved. However, with all his legal problems not looking like they're going away (I think he's due in court Jan 27) it'll be interesting to see how long he stays with them for.

In other news, Jim Ross says it's 'questionable' that Edge will be back for WM26 and that Stone Cold will guest host Raw prior to 'Mania.

Now that Orton's got the title shot against Seamus, I think we'll finally see the face turn of Dibiase as he knocks Orton out of the RR match and challenges him at 'Mania. What does everyone else think?

Raw was quite good this week but I was annoyed not to see Bret, he's not going to join DX is he?

Haven't had chance to watch RAW yet and knew I shouldn't really read the latest update in here. But couldn't resist.

Don't think Bret will be on each and every week and that's a good thing. They need to build this slowly and properly to WM.

Orton vs Sheamus has serious potential tho. Then again, Orton makes EVERYONE look good. He's just so damn into his character.

Sorry Guy! There's a few other cool things this week so still plenty to enjoy.

I try not to read this thread if I've not seen Raw but often fail!

Fair enough!

Who are favorite wrestlers at the moment? Mine are Orton and Jericho.

I really can't see any good in RKO v Sheamus. Aren't there enough faces on Raw for Sheamus to face? I've never seen the value in face v face or heel v heel. About the only one I've liked is Undertaker v HBK but then they don't need a storyline to tear the house down. Sheamus has only been there 5 mins so has loads of faces he could fight, ignoring Cena/DX.

Mark Henry? Kofi? Ted?

greenwich - mine is Jericho as well.
