Hulk Hogan said that he'd offered Youmanga (as Regal calls him) a job at TNA but he was going back to WWE...

I think they've reduced the PPV load for 2010, which should give more build ups...

I liked Flair's promos, starting off quiet, laidback and ending with every vein in his head exploding. Eddie Guerrerro was similar and John Cena TRIES to do the same. Flair was always convincing as a face or a heel. I'd welcome him back to WWE in a Commissioner type role, but never (as Y2J might say) E-VER back in the ring.

The Mr Perfect vignettes are pretty funny too tho. Especially the American Football one where he throws it to himself for a touchdown.

Very.

I read Brett Hart's book last year, a very honest and insightful look into the business. I found it hard to disagree with anything he said. Apparently, that Hulk Hogan was a bit of a shit.

On a completey different note I still openly weep at Jeff Hardy f*cking up what could've been the greatest stunt ever. I don't remember which PPV it was but basically in a ladder title match he was left swinging on the hook that holds the belt and RVD was supposed to give him a vandaminator from the top of a ladder in the corner, Jeff got the timing of the swing wrong and flaked out as Van Damm lept. Bollocks.

They've dropped Judgement Day. That's it.

I've read a lot of negative stuff about Hogan - other wrestlers admired his ceaseless work for charity, hospital visits etc but on the other hand a lot of them griped he wasnt a team player and wouldnt sell their moves ie if Earthquake would powerslam him Hogan would act like nothing had happened. Compared this to the likes of Flair and DiBiase who would always help make their opponents look good whilst at the same time performing their own stuff.
I heartily recommend To Be The Man which is Flair's biography. Endlessly fascinating and entertaining. Heenan's was a bit of a let down however.

Has anybody read Chris Jericho's book, "Around the world in spandex"?

No, but I would recommend Adam Copeland on Edge. Which obviously, is Edge's book. Jericho has a follow up to his book coming out soon.

In response to that suggestion, all I can picture in my head is Brian from Family Guy whacking Peter Griffin around the head with a newspaper, saying "no, no"!

Bischoff was a great GM. Vickie Guerrero excellent. Especially when you consider how uncomfortable she was on camera and especially on the mic. If Flair were to come back in any capacity, he'd be ripping that bloody shirt off, whoooing and tripping over like a twat within seconds. Goodbye, good riddance you bum!

He's been Raw GM before, and I thought he did well. But I suppose you like him or you hate him, and I like him. Sorry!

Also, I thought Bischoff was crap; very watered down from WCW. He was getting paid to be Vince's bitch, and then lost out to SCSA every week.

I'm right. You're wrong. End of.

And that's the bottom line... oh forget it.

My, not so little anymore, brother used to love wrestling, is Jale the Snake and Undertaker still alive or has everyone from that era all succombed to steroid induced heart attacks?

They're both atill alive, in fact, The Undertaker is World Heavyweight Champion!

Not sure what Jake's up too, but he has no working relatonship with WWE. I think he may have been over here at some point? (Essex Wrestling or something like that)

That snake had better be devenomised!

And they say that wrestling nowadays is too extreme!

Jake was an AWESOME heel, but anyone who saw Beyond The Mat could be left in no doubt that he drew very much on his own personal demons when it came to his character.

The vignettes where Jake was supposed to be helping the Warrior to prepare to face Undertaker before actually turning on him was a classic example of building a storyline. Obviously that was a lot easier then with one programme per week, 4 PPVs per year, but I still think the writers MASSIVELY rush stories they don't need to and devote way too much time to the current 'top' guys.

As much as I dislike TNA purely out of childish loyalty to Vince and the WWE, they do do a very good job of sharing the tv time around and taking time over their stories. And don't get me started on WWE's use of a once great tag-team division just to put singles competitors against each other EVERY BLOODY WEEK.

The problem with TNA is that I can't keep up with who are the heels and faces!
