Yep, he had a second heart attack. 36? Heart attack? WWE obviously knew he was still on drugs, so that's why they released/sacked him in June.

In all fairness to my beloved WWE, Umaga failed the 'wellness' test, was offered help and refused it. They had little choice but to let him go when he seemed unwilling to address his issues.

As much as I love 'wrestling' tho, it really saddens me to see that these incidences are happening more and more often nowadays. Clearly a result of the incredibly extreme working and travelling conditions they put themselves / are put through.

Oh and I'm one of the suckers who will almost certainly be paying for TLC. Well, actually, my brother probably will, even if it is his birthday. It's still his turn for a few times.

Survivor Series was actually pretty good, but I do think they're MASSIVELY overdoing it on the PPVs at the moment. 3 weeks between cards is ridiculous.

Disappointed another one's on Box Office tho. Can record it onto VHS but even with a supposed Macrovision remover, failing miserably when it comes to transferring it onto DVD. Which is a pain as I've managed to do almost 100 other PPVs spread back over the last 20 years over the last few months.

Mickie James

The following is a very NOT SUITABLE FOR WORK OR ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 website showing some of Miss James' pre-WWE work: LINK

The photos are genuine. Any 'sex vid' supposed to star her is apparently a fake.

Actually, should I delete that link to protect the innocence of some of our younger viewers?

I found a squeezable rubber Million Dollar Man head in my bedside drawers while tidying up at my Mum's the other day. Just the thing for squirting water around the bath. It's now been donated to my three year old niece and nephew, but does mean that come bath time, I get to do my best Ted DiBiase impression.

I'm currently messing with their minds tho and trying to convince them they like prunes (they've never tried them) and so his current phrase is that "everybody has some prunes... for the Million Dollar Man" (cue obligatory evil laugh).

Well, it makes me laugh. You sort of have to be there.

The Million Dollar Man and Ric Flair (particularly his first stint in the WWF circa 1991ish) were fantastic villains. There are also fantastic clips of DiBiase paying a pool attendant to clear a public swimming pool of all its children so he can have it to himself. Priceless - and so is the footage of Heenan and Monsoon watching this.

I was never a fan of Flair's. His NWA / WCW heritage was the main reason. His ridiculous trip-up didn't help. But when he shouted at a load of fans outside the NEC, calling us animals for daring to stand within 10 metres of him and Stacy Keibler (who I was certainly more interested in) while they were trying to get on a coach was the clincher.

I was chuffed to bits to be present when he was retired at WMXXIV and took great pleasure in being one of the few people to give him a raucus booing.

JBL is the only wrestler of recent times to really play the sort of pantomime villain that DiBiase did, but he did it just as well. His story with HBK could and should have been dragged out for MUCH longer.

The Mr Perfect vignettes are pretty funny too tho. Especially the American Football one where he throws it to himself for a touchdown.

I'm glad i'm not the only one who feels that way.
I loved it when Legacy battered him in a street fight a few months back.

I really ought to sit down and watch a lot more of his 1980s NWA matches because I might have him all wrong. But from what I have seen, I'm really not impressed.

He was great on the mic. He had real presence. He could tell a story. But in all the time he was in the WWF and then WWE, I don't think I EVER saw him have a half-decent match other than the one HBK handed him on a plate.

I did quite enjoy it when he went up to the top rope and even Jerry Lawler on commentary stated that he didn't think he'd EVER seen him connect from there.

The problem was he was about 94 by the time he joined WWE.

I always thought he was a bit sluggish. And the 'Woo" really, really annoys me.

His personal life makes for interesting reading. Three divorces (and now just married) a drug addict son, refusal to accept that he's past it, I could go on....
